I’ve seen Emmett Kerrigan’s work before, but he had a show at Linda Warren’s new gallery space… it was awesome! If you get the chance go and see it. The key to his work is the enormous build of texture that doesn’t always translate into photos. You have to see it in person.

I was lucky enough to stop by Harvey Moon’s opening last month and it was so good I went to the closing too. This some of the best work I’ve seen in a long time, and definitely the most interesting work in Chicago using new digital and programing mediums.
